This Privacy Policy explains how Sharkclic LTD (“Sharkclic”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information collected through this website (sharkclic.com) and the Sharkclic platform (app.sharkclic.com).

This Policy covers personal information we collect when you visit sharkclic.com, join the waitlist, apply for an invite, create an account on the Sharkclic platform, or correspond with us. It does not cover information collected by third parties whose sites or services we link to. If you create a Sharkclic account or apply for a role, additional terms (Terms of Service, Investment Disclaimer, AI Disclaimer) will apply and will be presented before you proceed.

Information you give us.

• Waitlist data. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and the timestamp of your submission.
• Application data. If you apply for a Sharkclic role (Investor, Founder, Consultant, Partner, Talent), we collect identity information (name, email, profile, LinkedIn) and the application content you submit.
• Account data. If you create an account, we collect your name, email, password (hashed), preferences (sectors, ticket size, geography), and any role-specific information you choose to share.
• Verification data. Where required, we collect identity-verification information (KYC) — passport or national ID, proof of address, professional credentials. This data is stored encrypted and only accessed by authorised reviewers.
• Activity data inside the platform. Likes, superlikes, applications, messages, program participation, Sharkbot prompts, and similar interactions are recorded so we can deliver the product and audit access.

Information collected automatically. Server logs and cookies record technical information (IP address, device, browser, operating system, pages viewed, referrer, timestamps). We use this to operate the site, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell this information.

We use personal information to: operate sharkclic.com and the Sharkclic platform; review applications and verify identity; deliver the product (matching, programs, messaging, Sharkbot, dashboards); communicate with you about your account, applications, and platform updates; prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access; comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your data with advertising networks. Inside the platform, your information is only visible to other members in line with your role permissions and the visibility settings you choose.

We use a small set of trusted third-party providers to operate the product: hosting (Vercel and Netlify), email delivery, analytics, identity verification, and customer support. These providers process data only on our instructions and under contractual confidentiality obligations. The list of subprocessors will be published before public launch and updated when it changes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging for sensitive operations. No system is perfectly secure; we work continuously to reduce risk.
